Mrs. Inez Eldridge, 88, of Blountstown, FL, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday night, Dec. 9, 2009, in Blountstown.

Mrs. Eldridge was born on July 11, 1921, in Blountstown and lived in Calhoun County all of her life. She assisted her husband, Dr. Marion C. Eldridge, in their chiropractic office for numerous years. Inez was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blountstown.

She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Eldridge.

Survivors include her loving husband, Dr. Marion C. Eldridge, of Blountstown; two sons, Wilson Thomas (Tommy) McClellan of Blountstown and Dr. Marion C. (Butch) Eldridge and his wife, Kathleen, of Mandarin; one daughter, Debbie (McClellan) Edwards, and her husband, Tommy, of Blountstown; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Blountstown with Rev. David Throckmorton officiating. Interment followed in the Nettle Ridge Cemetery.

All arrangements were under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown (ph. 674-2266).
