Livern Lee Hanna-Smith, age 64, of Kinard passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 in Panama City. Born in Altha, December 2, 1951, Livern was the daughter of the late Ira Burrel Hanna, Sr. and Carrie Ann (Crutchfield) Hanna. She was a graduate of Blountstown High School and was a convenient store manager for several years.

Her passions were ceramics, cub scouts, little league,4-H, sheriff’s office auxiliary program, and camping.
Livern tried her best at all that she did and she loved her family both natural and adopted.

Livern was the granddaughter of Verna Mae & Ira E. Hanna of Altha and Lilla & Henry Crutchfield of Cyprus; the daughter of Carrie Ann & Ira Burrell Hanna, Sr. of Port St. Joe and Altha; mother to Lindsey & Dewayne Ayers, Michelle and Bill Neal, and adopted son, Frank Neal of Kinard; grandmother to Judith Livern Neal and Zachary Ayers; sister to Shirley & Johnny Watson, Buddy & Donna Hanna, William & Pat Hanna, John Thomas & Theresa Hanna, and Mindy Ammons & the late Ed Ammons; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 6 in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Altha. Funeral services will follow immediately at 10:00 a.m. in the cemetery.
