Mrs. June Rosemary Alderman, 81, of Chipley, FL, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016.

June was born in London England on September 20, 1934, to Horace and Elizabeth Firminger, who precede her in death.

Growing up in London, she was a member of the Church of England. June's passion was interior design and she owned Bay Blind and Drapery. She relished in love for all of her animals, as well as reading, knitting, sewing and playing cards. June was loved by everyone who met her and over the top with laughing at life.

June is predated in death by a son, Michael W. Alderman.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Johnny Alderman, of Chipley, FL; remarkable mother to Jamie Ingram (Kenny Merritt) and Johnny Alderman, Jr. (Susie), all of Chipley; sister to Barry Kent of Chipley, and Keith Kent (Pam) of Orlando, FL; devoted Nana to six grandchildren, Kevin, Christian, Carter, Haley, Emily, and Matthew.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, June 16, at Southerland Family Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lynn Haven Animal Shelter, 1750 Recreation Drive, Lynn Haven FL 32444 in June’s memory.
