Lizzie Flowers, 62, of Bristol, passed away in Bristol Tuesday, June 7, 2016.
Lizzie was born May 23, 1954, to the late Walter and Bernice (Sapp) Pitts. She was a homemaker and also worked in medical records for Florida Department of Corrections. She was a member of Lake Mystic Baptist Church in Bristol.
In addition to her parents, Walter and Bernice Pitts, Lizzie was preceded in death by three brothers, Aubrey “Jake” Pitts, Jerry Pitts, and John Rue.
Survivors include her husband, George, of Bristol; a son, Johnny Barfoot, of Sneads; a daughter, Candice Earnest, and her husband, Chris, of Hosford; a special granddaughter, Caitlyn Earnest; and grandson, Landon Earnest, and his wife, Summer; three sisters, Florice Kever, Myrtle Ann French, and Mary Nell Swearington, all of Blountstown.
The family received friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. ET, Friday, June 10, at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown. The service was at 11:00 a.m. ET, Saturday, June 11 at Lake Mystic Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Chumley officiating. Interment followed in Life More Abundant Cemetery in Bristol.
