George Wayne Hall, 74, of Altha, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016, in Cottondale.
Born in Altha, September 18, 1941, Wayne was the son of the late Willie and Lora (Mayo) Hall. He proudly served in the United States Army and later worked as a lineman for Century Link.
In addition to his parents, Willie and Lora Hall, Wayne was preceded in death by a brother, Angus Hall, and a nephew, Troy Johnson.
Wayne is survived by his sons, Joe Hall and his wife, Sylvia, of Cottondale, Steve Hall and his wife, Allison, of Havana, and Rick Hall of Cottondale; nine grandchildren, Landi, Cody, Gage, Courtnie and her husband, Justin, Trint, Tanner, Carter, Kristina, and Dakota; and two great-grandchildren, Corbin and Ivy; two brothers, James Brady Hall and his wife, Ann, of Greensboro, and Jerral Hall of Altha; two sisters, Joyce Williams and her husband, Tom, of Tallahassee and Thelma Sellers and her husband, Al, of Altha; sister-in-law, Bonnie Hall, of Altha; numerous nieces, nephews, and his loyal canine companion, Lady.
The family received friends from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30, in the Chapel of Adams Funeral Home and the funeral followed at 1:00. Interment was in New Shiloh Cemetery in Altha with military honors.
