The Altha Wildcats celebrated a 65-39 win over Wewa in their homecoming game Friday night.
“It was 19-14 at halftime, but we came out good in the third quarter and outscored them, 30-7,” says Coach Matthew Nichols.
Leading the Wildcats was Zac Morris with 15 points, followed by Ethan Hires with 12. Dylan Hill provided 11, Sawyer Brown had 9, Jaylon Hall had 8 and Dewayne Laramore had 6. Jay Yon and Johnny Aaron added 2 points a piece. The Wildcats traveled to Liberty County Tuesday (details unavailable at press time).
They will be in Franklin County Thursday, then host Bethlehem Friday with game time at 5:30 for JV, 7 p.m. for varsity.
