Blountstown farmer Henry McCrone was elected to the state board of directors of the Florida Farm Bureau Federation at the organization’s annual meeting Oct. 28-30 at Daytona Beach.
McCrone, who also serves on the Calhoun-Gulf County Farm Bureau board of directors, will represent Board District 3 which includes Bay, Calhoun-Gulf, and Washington counties.
McCrone is one of five new board members. The Florida Farm Bureau Federation is the state’s largest general-interest agricultural association with about 140,000 member families statewide.
Headquartered in Gainesville, the Federation is an independent, non-profit agricultural organization.
