Burglary, harassing phone calls arrest

Kenneth Glenn Vickery has been charged in the case.

According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, Dep. Zach Whitfield responded to an Altha home after dispatch received a call about a man threatening to kill a woman in the yard. While enroute, dispatch advised the man was now in the house and could be heard over the phone yelling. Lt. John Scheetz also responded and arrived just prior to Dep. Whitfield. He was met at the door by someone holding a baseball bat who stated, “This guy just broke into my house and started threatening me.”
