The Caverns to Coast Tour, Bike Florida’s 2015 spring ride, is headed to the North Florida Panhandle for a taste of its rural routes and salt air. The tour will be held March 21-27, 2015.

The tour is designed for active recreational riders. Riders go at their own speed, and can stop to explore or push hard till the days end. Participants choose how many miles and what speed to ride.

The tour will start in Blountstown with riders arriving Friday evening and Saturday morning. Home base will be the Blountstown Middle School campus until Monday morning when the tour will relocate to Marianna.

Riders will travel up to 100 miles a day as they visit regional sites, then return to their headquarters where they will camp overnight. The tour will be a traveling city of sorts, as they supply their own shower and restroom trailers, catering operation for those who opt to purchase the tour meal plan, and camping gear outfitter. In addition, the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce plans to coordinate evening events for the riders, as well as locals.

Looping out of Blountstown, riders will go to Marianna for two days, then down to Port St. Joe, before heading back to Blountstown to complete the tour. This route will offer riders the chance to experience wonderful farmland and country roads before heading to the coast.
