Clifford “Law” Pitts, 77, of Kinard, Florida, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014, in Blountstown, Florida.
He was born April 18, 1937, in Auburndale, Florida, to the late George and Rozella (Daniels) Pitts. Clifford was a heavy equipment mechanic and served in the United States Army for six years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Red Pitts; and a sister, Lillie Mae Williams.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannine (Gayout) Pitts, of Kinard; three sons, Pat Pitts and his wife, Monica, of Kinard, Willy Pitts and his wife, Karen, of Blountstown, and Phillip Pitts of Kinard; four grandchildren, Patrick Ryan, Savannah and Sarah Pitts, and Marsana Bruner; and one great-grandchild, Annalyn Meneses; three brothers, J. A. Pitts and his wife, Myrtice, of Kinard, Junior Pitts and his wife, Bertie Mae, also of Kinard, and Willard Pitts of Wewahitchka, Florida.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, December 8, at Adams Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at noon, Tuesday, December 9, at Cypress Creek Baptist Church in Kinard with Dustin Mauphers and Reverend Bill Mayo officiating. Interment will follow in Cypress Creek Cemetery.
