Congratulations to 10th grader, Trent Smith!

Trent was chosen by the faculty to be this year’s Blountstown high School Ambassador to the Hugh O’Brian Leadership Seminar as a fun, life-changing experience. HOBY is one of the oldest and most prominent youth leadership organizations in the world. HOBY was founded by the actor Hugh O’Brian after returning from spending nine inspirational days working and volunteering with Dr. Albert Schweitzer, the 1952 Nobel Peace Prize Winner.

The attendees of the seminar will be constantly surrounded by other young leaders like themselves, and through several different activities, learn how to develop their own leadership skills. Congratulations again to Trent.
