An Altha man is facing several drug charges after a routine visit from his probation officer.
Charles Kenneth Josey, 24, is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and attempting to sell, manufacture, deliver or possess with intent to sell methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a school.
According to the Altha Police Department, Chief Jimmy Baggett responded to Josey’s home after a probation officer stopped by and learned Josey was hiding in a bathroom closet. Chief Baggett received permission to search the residence and discovered meth and meth oil, along with items used in the meth manufacturing process.
Josey was subsequently taken into custody and booked into the Calhoun County Jail.
