A Blountstown man was arrested after allegedly streaking down local streets then becoming aggressive with law enforcement officers.

Abrahm Doyle Peacock is being charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence and indecent exposure.

According to the Blountstown Police Department, Capt. Adam Terry responded to Evans Avenue Wednesday morning in reference to a naked man walking down the street. Capt. Terry made contact with Peacock who was fully unclothed. As he attempted to place him under arrest, Peacock allegedly refused, balled up his fist and ran toward Capt. Terry who kicked him away. Peacock started walking away, then turned back and ran toward Capt. Terry with a clinched fist.

A short time later, Chief Mark Mallory arrived with a taser. Chief Mallory told Peacock he was under arrest and ordered him to the ground. Peacock allegedly did not comply, started toward Chief Mallory and was ordered to stop. When he failed to comply, Chief Mallory deployed the taser, with one probe striking
Peacock’s neck and the other hitting his stomach area. Peacock then fell face down on the ground, but continued to resist when they attempted to handcuff him. Chief Mallory utilized the taser again and Peacock was cuffed and told to stay on the ground. He continued to resist and tried to stand. Chief Mallory cycled the taser a third time and Peacock became cooperative.

Peacock was placed in an ambulance, then allegedly started kicking and snatching around inside. Capt. Terry showed him the taser and told him to stop resisting. Peacock reportedly slapped Capt. Terry’s hand and tried to kick him.

Peacock reportedly stated in the ambulance he had taken seven Hydrocodone pills and smoked some hydrocodone. He was transported to Calhoun-Liberty Hospital.

Peacock’s clothes were found at the corner of Evans Avenue and Charley Johns Street. Also recovered was an Advil bottle with three Hydrocodone tablets inside.
