Mr. Wilford Ray Webb, 83, of Bristol, FL, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 8, 2014, at his home.
Ray was born on September 27, 1930, in Bonifay, FL, and had lived in Bristol since 1986, coming from Dade City, FL. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Mechanic and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bristol.
Ray was preceded in death by his father and mother, Hosey Lee Webb and Thelma OZ (Harris) Webb; wife, Glenda Ruth Webb; daughter, Glenda Gail Byrd; and brother, Ralph Webb.
Survivors include his son, Wilford L. Webb, and his wife, Shelia, of Bristol; daughter, Dale Lee, of Dade City; companion, Jacquelyn Kelley, of Bristol; son-in-law, Walter Byrd, of Dade City; two brothers, Lavon Webb and Jerry Webb, both of Bristol; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three granddaughters-in-law.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 11, at 11:00 am (EDT) at the First Baptist Church in Bristol with Reverend Roger Phillips, Reverend Ben Armstrong and Reverend Johnny Armstrong officiating. Interment followed in Winterville Cemetery in Bonifay at 3:00 pm (EDT).
