On June 24, 2014 Stephen Paul McDaniel was arrested by the Calhoun County Sheriffs Office CID on charges of Burglary and Grand Theft which stem from a February 2014 Burglary which occurred in the Frink Community.
The victim reported that during the burglary of a residence and shed, numerous firearms and tools were taken which totaled several thousand dollars.
A fingerprint that was collected from the residence was sent to FDLE for analysis. The fingerprint came back to McDaniel’s girlfriend at the time, Jayla Long. Following her recent arrest on unrelated charges, Long provided full details of the burglary which implicated McDaniel. According to Long, the property was likely sold for drugs.
None of the property has been recovered at this time. Anyone with information in this case is encouraged to call the Calhoun County Sheriffs Office CID or Crimestoppers at 1-888-804-8494
