Some recent improvements have made the Calhoun County Courthouse much more handicap accessible to the public.
Brand new doors can be opened with the push of a button to allow easy access for those in wheelchairs or using walkers.
The parking lot has new handicap spaces out front allowing easy access to a new wheelchair ramp. These improvements allow handicapped citizens conducting business in the courthouse to utilize the front entrance. Previously, handicap accessibility was only available at the rear entrance.
