Debra Ann Mathers, age 58, of Chattahoochee, Florida passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at her home.
Debra was a graduate of Blountstown High School and worked at C & L Bank of Blountstown for many years. She later retired from Florida Department of Corrections as an accountant. Debra attended River Town Community Church in Blountstown.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Dean Weeks and her husband, William Melvin Mathers.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Jeter of Blountstown; two sons, Jacob Mathers of Chattahoochee and Billy Mathers of Panama City, Florida and his wife Erica who was like a daughter to Debra; three grandchildren, Kaleb, Summer, and Hailey; sisters, Cindy Taylor of Panama City, Sherrie Bowers and her husband, Mel of Bainbridge, Georgia, and Jo Ann Bridges and her husband Ronnie of Blountstown; her brothers, Ricky Stone of Tallahassee, Florida, Ronnie Stone and his wife, Terrie of Blountstown, Harry Mathers and his wife, Stephanie of Grand Ridge, Florida, and Johnny Mathers and his wife, Linda of Havana, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A Memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 10 in the Chapel of Adams Funeral Home.
