Carr School will be sponsoring a Kindergarten Screening on Wednesday, May 7th from 8:00 - 12:00. Please call the school to make an appointment.

Altha FFA hosting 5k and Fun Run May 17th
The Altha FFA Chapters will host the “Accelerate” 5K and Fun Run race Saturday, May 17, at 8 am, at the Altha School Baseball Complex.

All proceeds will go to help Altha FFA members compete and attend the State FFA Convention.

Runners may register early by mail or from 7:00-7:45am on race day. The Fun Run will be for ages 12 and under and will begin at 8:00am. All times are Central. Immediately following the Fun Run, the 5K will begin. Registration fees are $10 for the Mile Run and $20 for the 5K. Participants will receive a t-shirt at registration. Medals will be awarded to division winners and overall winners.

Registration forms for the 5K are available online at: www.althaschools.org. Registration can be mailed or dropped off at Altha School.

Registration will be accepted on the day of the event as well.

Kindegarten
registration at BES on May 7th
Blountstown Elementary School Kindergarten Registration will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 8:00 – 12:00. Please call 674-8169 to make an appointment. Students eligible for registration must be 5 years oldon or before September 1, 2014. Parents will need to bring in a birth certificate,a social security card, a health physical (within one year of August 2014), and a shot record.
