Mr. John Randall "Randy" McGinnis, 57, passed away suddenly on September 25, 2009, in his home in Blountstown
Randy was born in LaGrange, Ga., on October 5, 1951. He is the son of Francis Walker Humphrey of LaGrange and John Vinson McGinnis, Jr. (deceased) of Greenville, S.C. He was the grandson of Allie and Bud Walker, both deceased.
Randy is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Wayne Gaylor, of LaGrange; his niece and her children, Danielle Ballenger, Mason Ballenger, Scott Copelan and Ashley Copelan, of Valdosta, Ga.; a special close cousin and her husband, Rita and Bruce See, of Dallas, Ga.; two aunts and uncles, Christine Howard and Marette and Jimmy Laudus, all of LaGrange, with many cousins spread across the nation.
There will be a private memorial service for the family to be scheduled at a later date. Randy requested to be cremated and since he felt more peace fishing, his ashes will be scattered in the water. The family can be reached at their home at 145 Edgemont Dr. in LaGrange.
Hall Funeral Home in Altha was in charge of these arrangements.
