Calhoun-Liberty Hospital unveiled a one-of-a-kind mammography room Friday at a pink ribbon cutting held in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The room, featuring a state of the art digital mammography machine, was adopted by Angie Hill, owner of Merle Norman. Angie, along with Richard Armstrong and Eddie Taylor, put a glamourous pink spin on the room, complete with a chandelier and custom fabrics. A pink and white striped wall features inspiring words from the song, “The Climb”, encouraging women who may be going through a challenging time with breast cancer to keep moving, keep climbing, and keep the faith.
Guests were treated to a reception with all sorts of delicious pink treats.
