Mrs. Lillian Louise Schweikert, 90, of Mexico Beach, FL, went to Heaven, Monday, December 16, 2013.
Lillian was born on February 11, 1923, in Greenville, South Carolina, and had lived in Mexico Beach since 1965. She was a homemaker and a member of Mexico Beach Methodist Church.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert Charles Schweikert.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Schweikert and his wife, Patricia, of Buffalo, WY, Donald Schweikert and his wife, Carol, of Valrico, FL, and Richard Schweikert of Port Saint Joe, FL; two daughters, Judy Mahan and her husband, Wesley, of New Port Richey, FL; Janis Tankersley and her husband, Danny, of Port Saint Joe, FL; one brother, Don Hester, of Greenville, SC; eight grandchildren, Don Schweikert, James Schweikert, Michael Schweikert, Jeff Schweikert, Kristy Schweikert Hirko, Mark Schweikert, Jacob Tankersley, and Anna Tankersley Hicks; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 20, at 11:00 am (EST) at the First United Methodist Church in Port Saint Joe with Reverend Andy Hirko and Reverend Geoffrey Lentz officiating. Interment followed in Holly Hill Cemetery in Port Saint Joe. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Children’s Ministry at the First United Methodist Church, 1001 Constitution Drive, Port Saint Joe, FL 32456 or Covenant Hospice, 107 West 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405.
