The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is sponsoring a “Freeze Crime in Snowvember Festival” set for Saturday, Nov. 16, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Calhoun County Courthouse in downtown Blountstown.
Come out for a day of free goodies including hamburgers, hot dogs, snow cones and drinks.
Planned activities include an ice skating rink, snow for the kids to play, ponies, inflatables, booths and more.
Churches, school and community organizations, as well as local businesses interested in having giveaway booths with free items are welcome and encouraged to partner on this event. This is all about giving back, so only freebies, no sales! Call Kim Tanner at the Sheriff’s Office, 674-5049, to inquire about a booth space.
