Suspended Liberty County School Superintendent Gloria Gay Uzzell was back in court Monday, reaching a deferred prosecution agreement.
As previously reported, Uzzell, 51, was arrested over the summer on charges of grand theft, official misconduct and a public records violation.
According to the deferred prosecution agreement that is valid for one year, if Uzzell remains compliant to the deal, all charges will be dropped after a year. Check out this week's print edition for the full story on the agreement.
