Betty Mathis, 71, of Blountstown, Florida passed away Thursday, May 21, 2009, in Blountstown.
Mrs. Mathis was born in Chipley, Florida, but lived most of her life in Clarksville. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Mathis.
Survivors include a son, Randy Mathis, of Clarksville; three daughters, Vickey Davis and her friend, Bill Herb, of Alford, Nancy King and her husband, Jeff, of Blountstown, and Kathy Fite and her husband, Mike, of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; two sisters, Bonnie Coulliette and Barbara Pumphery of Alford; six grandchildren, Nate and Wyatt Davis, Lanissa, Kimberly, Carrie and Terry; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 23, at Williams Memorial United Methodist Church with Reverend Gary Stevens and Reverend John Kramer officiating. Interment followed in Williams Memorial Cemetery in Scotts Ferry.
