Mrs. Marjorie Bryant, age 92, of Blountstown, FL, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013, in Blountstown.
Marjorie was born on June 1, 1921, in Geneva County, AL and had lived in Blountstown for most of her life. She worked for the Jones Drug Store in Blountstown for a number of years and retired from Golden’s Drug Store after 30 years. She also substituted at the Blountstown Elementary School Lunchroom.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, S.A. Bryant, and a daughter, Marie Mears.
She was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Blountstown.
Survivors include one son, James Bozeman, and his wife, Willa Dean, of Blountstown; one brother, Johnny Griffin, of Blountstown; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Sunday, September 1, at 2:00 pm CDT at Peavy Funeral home Chapel with Reverend David Goodman officiating. Interment followed in Pine Memorial Cemetery in Blountstown.
