Sandra Howard Elliott passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013.

Born in 1939, she was a Monsanto Area III DTO retiree. Sandra was a volunteer for the Council on Aging in Defuniak Springs, FL. She bowled on a league at Liberty Lanes, enjoyed fishing, camping, riding motorcycles, and swimming and picnics at a local creek. She was an active member of the Argyle Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence J. Simmons; father, Amos Howard; husband, Aubrey G. Elliott; great-grandson, David Blake Hupp; brothers, Franklin Delanor “Sonny” Howard and Harley J. “Jimbo” Wilds and sister, Sylvia J. Wilds.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Ann Glover (Robert Allan) and Barbara Lynn Horne (Norman G.); son, Steven Cecil Bodiford; grandkids, Janelle L. Kitts (Matthew), Josh Glover, Amanda Hupp, Blake Bodiford, Sylvia Golden (Scott) and Carol Howard (Justin); brothers, Amos J. “Boogie” Howard (Rose Marie), George B. Howard, Ronnie Johnson and Douglas E. “Eddie” Fludd; numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandkids.

A memorial service was held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, September 7, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with Reverend James Burnham officiating.
