Accelerated Reader Recognition

Students in grades 6 - 12 who placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the Accelerated Reader program were recently rewarded certificates of recognition as well as a pizza lunch.

Those students earning recognition are:

6th grade:
1st place – Summer Farris, 2nd place – Suade Perez, 3rd place – Jenny Moore;

7th grade: 1st place – Allie Stripling, 2nd place – Nathan Bevan, 3rd place – Brina Yand;

8th grade: 1st place – Matthew McCalvin, 2nd place – Kelsey Rehberg, 3rd place – Camilla Taylor;

9th grade: 1st place – Katelynn Ballard, 2nd place – Ciara Reagan, 3rd place – Summer Hand and Montana Shanks;

10th grade: 1st place - Nicole Schamans, 2nd place – Katelynn Williams, 3rd place – Kevin Alday;

11th grade – Summer Attaway, 2nd place – Cessna Folsom, 3rd place – Kayla Hires;

12th grade: 1st place - Brittany Stephens, 2nd place - April Tucker, 3rd place – Shayla Reagan.

Matthew McCalvin (pictured) led the entire school in Accelerated Reader points earned with an astounding 970 points! This is a school record! No one has ever earned this many AR points before.
