Notice is hereby given to all interested persons or firms that sealed bids will be accepted at the Calhoun County Clerk of Court Office located at the Calhoun County Courthouse, 20859 Central Avenue East, Room 130, Blountstown, Florida 32424 NO LATER THAN 2:00 P.M. (CT) on May 6, 2013 for the following project:
BID NAME: Request for Bid for the Calhoun County Courthouse Concrete Handicap Ramp.
DESCRIPTION: The Calhoun County Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified contractors to respond to this Request for Bid for the Calhoun County Courthouse Concrete Handicap Ramp.
BID OPENING:
Bids will be opened and recorded by the Calhoun County Board of County Commissioners on May 7, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. (CT).
Specifications and General Conditions may be obtained from the Emergency Management Office between the hours of 7:00 A.M. (CT) and 4:00 P.M (CT) Monday through Friday. Information or inquiries may be made by contacting Joe Wood, Public Works Director, at 20859 Central Avenue East, Room G-40, Blountstown, Florida or phone 850.674.8075, or contact Donald Stanley, with Preble-Rish, Inc. at 850.674.3300.
Bids SHALL be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked what the bid is for.
The Calhoun County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid in their judgment will be in the best interest of Calhoun County.

NOTICE TO RECEIVE SEALED BIDS
The Calhoun County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in constructing:
CALHOUN COUNTY CATALYST SITE PHASE I
Plans and specifications can be obtained at Preble-Rish, Inc., 20684 Central Avenue East, Blountstown, FL 32424, (850) 674-3300. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes.
This project consists of site grading and pond excavation.
Completion date for these projects will be 200 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder.
Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $200.00 per day.
Please indicate on the envelope that this is a sealed bid, the bid number and what the bid is for.
Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. (C.T.), on Tuesday, May 6, 2013, at the Calhoun County Clerk’s Office, Calhoun County Courthouse, 20859 Central Avenue East, Room 130, Blountstown, Florida 32424, and will be opened and read aloud on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at 1:30 p.m.(C.T.).
Cost for Plans and Specifications will be $50.00 per set and is non-refundable. Checks should be made payable to PREBLE-RISH, INC.
The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of Calhoun County.

YOU ARE NOTIFIED that the ancillary administration of the Estate of Walker Wayne Savell, File Number: 13-28PR is pending in the Circuit Court for Calhoun County, Florida, Probate Division, 20859 Central Avenue, Blountstown, Florida 32424, the address of which is the Calhoun County Courthouse. The Personal Representative of the Estate is Eric Alvin Savell. The name and address of the Personal Representative’s attorney is set forth below.
All persons having claims or demands against the Estate are required, WITHIN THREE MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, to file with the Clerk of the above Court a written statement of any claim or demand they may have.
