Altha School’s FCCLA attended the state conference in Orlando last weekend. There were many students who participated in competitive events.
Brianna Yon and Emily Sewell competed in Chapter Service and won a gold medal.
Kennedy Yon won a gold medal in Chapter in Action Scrapbook.
Sky Pickron and Melody Holt also won gold in Entrepreneurship and will be advancing on to Nationals.
Jesse Mills and Aubree Bay won silver in Focus on Children.
Meagan Mantecon also won a silver medal in Recycle and Redesign. Karsen Hires won a bronze medal in Illustrated Talk and is an alternate for Nationals.
Brianna Yon and Collin Mears ran for a state office. Brianna was elected State Historian and Collin was elected State VP of Junior Relations. These two will go to Nationals as well.
Nationals will be held in Nashville, Tennessee this July.
