Billie C. Bryant, 91, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013, in Arcadia, Florida.

Billie was born April 27, 1921, in Grand Ridge, Florida. He moved to Arcadia 25 years ago and worked in the sod industry for more than 40 years as an equipment operator. He enjoyed fishing and spending quality time with his family. Billie was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ.

Survivors include five sons, Curtis Bryant of Port Charlotte, Florida, Jay Bryant and Alvin Bryant of Arcadia, and Earl Bryant of Clewiston, Florida; five daughters, Barbara Johannson of St. Augustine, Florida, Vergi Jozwick and Wanda Gilmore of Davie, Florida, Patricia McDowell Tellico of Plains, Tennessee, and Carol Sairkowitz of St. Augustine; 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Bryant, of Davie, and two sisters, Agnes Jeter of Panama City, Florida, and Geneva Welles of Plant City, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16, in the Chapel at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time (10:00-11:00 a.m.) at the funeral home.
