A trio of Altha Lady Lifters headed to the state finals in Kissimmee over the weekend.
Makaila Barton finished 10th at state which was the best finish in our area.
She also broke a school record with a 160 bench press. Morgan Allen finished 14th and Christina Watson came in 22nd.
Coach Robbie Smith reports, “We now have had 74 state qualifiers in weightlifting from Altha in 11 years.” Congratulations, Lady Wildcats!
