A Clarksville couple has been arrested after a meth lab was discovered in their home.
Steven Paul Waldron, 40, and Mandi Jeanene Waldron, 34, have been charged with manufacture of meth in the presence of a child, providing a controlled substance to a child, child abuse and violation of state probation.
According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, Lt. Todd Wheetley and Lt. Jared Nichols accompanied a state probation officer to the Waldron home on Big Mac Drive for a search. A clear plastic bottle of a bi-layer liquid was spotted in a waste basket and Steven Waldron allegedly admitted it was from manufacturing meth. He further confessed to having other components used in the process.
In a shocking admission, Steven told authorities Mandi had smoked the meth over the weekend with their 16-year-old daughter. She denied smoking meth with her daughter, but said she was aware the teen did smoke the drug. Several items used in the manufacture process were seized.
Three minor children reside with the couple.
