An appreciation reception honoring Sheriff David Tatum is planned Thursday, Jan. 3, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Frink Gym inside the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement.

Sheriff Tatum has honorably and respectfully served Calhoun County as sheriff for 12 years, with a total of 33 years of service to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.

The community is invited to come pay tribute to Sheriff Tatum as he retires from law enforcement.
