ORDINANCE NOTICE


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Ordinance No. 2012-06 of the City of Blountstown. AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED:

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 40, ARTICLE V, SECTION 40-202 OF THE BLOUNTSTOWN CITY-CODE; AN ORDINANCE SETTING FORTH BASE RATE, CHANGES FOR ELECTRICAL SERVICE FOR RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL USES; SETTING FORTH DEPOSITS REQUIRED FOR ELECTRICAL SERVICE; SETTING FORTH RATES TO BE CHARGED FOR METER BASES, SECURTIY LIGHTING, AND CONNECTIONS; SETTING FORTH RATES TO BE CHARGED FOR MISCELLANEOUS ELECTRIC SERVICES; REPEALING CONFLICTING RESOLUTIONS AND ORDINANCES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

SHALL BE PRESENTED to the City Council, City of Blountstown, for second and final adoption at a Special City council Meeting to be held Thursday, the 29th day of November, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Meeting Room at 17262 NW Angle Street, Blountstown, Fl. 32424.

This ordinance shall become effective upon final passage as provided by law.

ALL INTERESTED PERSONS desiring to be heard on the adoption of the aforesaid Ordinance No. 2012-06 are cordially invited to be in attendance at this meeting.

COPIES OF THIS ORDINANCE in its entirety may be obtained at City Hall, 20591 Central Ave. W. Blountstown, Florida 32424 between the working hours of M-F 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

The City of Blountstown has for sale the following vehicle.

ITEM #1 - VEHICLE - 2004 Ford Crown Victoria

MINIMUM BID $ 1,000.00

This vehicle can be viewed at the Public Works Compound located at 17262 NW Angle St.

All bids must be submitted to the City Manager’s Office, City Hall 20591 Central Avenue West, Blountstown, Florida 32424, no later than 3:00 p.m. November 27, 2012.

Separate bids are to be submitted for each vehicle in separate sealed envelopes. All Bids must be sealed and plainly marked as to which vehicle the bid is for. All bids must have the bidder’s name, address, telephone number, and description of the item being bid on, along with the dollar amount of the bid.

The sealed bids will be opened and read out at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, November 27, 2012 at City Hall.

The successful bidder will be required to pay for item(s) sought within five (5) working days of award of bid. Only cashiers or certified checks will be accepted.

This vehicle will be sold as is, where is. All bids should reflect these requirements.
