BMS Students Properly Retire Flag

When an American flag becomes tattered and torn, there is a proper way to dispose of it.

A group of students at Blountstown Middle School demonstrated this patriotic and fitting retirement of the flag that flew over their school during a ceremony on September 11 for fellow classmates, faculty, administrators and parents.

The students were instructed in the process by Colonel Logan Barbee.
