Mr. Edward Earl Dean, 57, of Quincy, FL, and a former resident of Blountstown, FL, passed away Friday morning, September 28, 2012, at his home.

Edward was born on September 19, 1955, in Calhoun County and lived in Quincy for the past 32 years, coming from Bristol. He was a truck driver employed with the Harbor Lite Corporation and a member of the Baptist Faith. Edward was a former member of the Quincy Bass Masters Bass Club and was a 1973 graduate of Blountstown High School.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Etta Mae Dean, and a brother, Donald Dean.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Dean, of Quincy; sons, Jesse Wayne Dean of Bristol and Michael Bodiford of Greensboro, FL; a daughter, Gail Trim, of Greensboro; four grandchildren, Bradley Trim, Kayla Bodiford, M.J. Bodiford and Emma Nicole Dean; one great-grandchild, Rylee Trim; two aunts and uncles, Edith and Jim Killingsworth of the Abe Springs Community, and Bessie and Lonnie Nunnery of Wewahitchka, FL.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, October 3, at 2:00 pm (CDT) 3:00 pm (EDT) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Allen Pitts officiating. Memorialization will be by Cremation.

All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown (ph. 674-2266).
