Miss LaPorshe Renee Watson, 26, of Jacksonville, Florida, and formerly of Blountstown, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 3, 2012.

LaPorshe leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted family including her son, Jahmal Webb. of Jacksonville; her daughter, Alexis Watson, of Jacksonville; her mother, Renell Webb, of Jacksonville; her father, Isaiah Watson (Pamela), of Tallahassee, Florida; two maternal sisters, Natasha Watson of Jacksonville, and Sgt. Ashley Mew of Camp Stanley, Korea; five paternal sisters, Latoya Watson and Biaggi Rogers, both of Detroit, Michigan, Yosikia Rogers of Westland, Michigan, Crystal Rogers of Wayne, Michigan, and Za’Nariyha Watson of Tallahassee; maternal grandmother, Alma Blue, of Blountstown; paternal grandmother, Josephine Brigham (John) of Blountstown; seven maternal aunts, Lillie (Julius) Baker of Marianna, Florida, Linda (Jerry) Monlyn and Letha (Leon) Bush, both of Blountstown, Diane (Earl) Godwin of Greenwood, Florida, Rebecca Johnson of Tyrone, Georgia, Teresa (Thomas) Pans of Birmingham, Alabama, and Sandrilla Johnson of Tallahassee; maternal uncles, Leroy Edwards of Tallahassee, Willie James Edwards and James Johnson, both of Pensacola, Florida; paternal uncles, Gary (Gail) Watson of Cocoa Beach, Florida; a special cousin, Dana Cooper, of Blountstown; a host of great uncles and great aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 15, at 12 Noon at Blountstown Middle School Auditorium, in Blountstown, with Rev. Dr. C. L. Wilson, officiating. Interment will be in the Hugh Creek Cemetery.

Vann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
