Calhoun Countians seem to be enjoying the early voting opportunity for the primary election.
As of press time Tuesday morning, 480 had cast ballots. Early voting, held at the basement of the Calhoun County Courthouse in the Supervisor of Elections office, opened Aug. 4 and continues through Saturday, Aug. 11.
Polls are open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring identification, such as Florida driver's license or DHSMV-issued ID card, public assistance ID, U.S. passport, military ID, debit or credit card, or student ID, to the polls.
