Local schools received their own report cards last week from the Florida Department of Education. Although high school scores are pending additional test results, elementary and middle school grades are available.
Blountstown Middle School dropped from an “A” to a “B” this year after state standards were raised. Blountstown Elementary School did the same. Carr School remained steady with an “A” for the year. Because Altha has high school students, the school’s overall grade has not yet been released, nor has the grade for BHS. However, both these schools did have statistics revealed on the report.
