Mr. John W. (Pete) Baggett, age 89, of Altha, FL and a former resident of Jackson County passed away Monday night, May 1, 2012 in Marianna, FL. Pete was born on February 10, 1923 in Altha and had lived in Jackson County for several years. He was a retired Cattle Farm manager and worked with the State of Florida as a mechanic for a number of years. Pete was a member of Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church in the Dellwood Community in Jackson County.

Survivors include,

Wife, Mary Baggett of Altha, FL

Sons, Carlton Baggett and his wife, Marie of Altha, FL
James Henderson and his wife, Regina of Dothan, AL
Rodney Henderson and his wife, Lisa of Cottonwood, AL
Kem Henderson and his wife, Cynthia of Gordon, AL

Brothers, L.N. Baggett of Altha, FL and Bobby Baggett and his wife, Linda of Altha, FL

Sisters, Irene Stanley, Nenver Gromms, Dorothy Bethel and Sue Baggett all of Altha, FL

Grandchildren, Farlon Baggett, Ronda Pumphrey, Brent Baggett, Matthew Henderson, Justin Henderson and Lacy Henderson.

Great grandchildren, Amy Kitchen, Sherry McCrone, Levi Baggett, Wrangler Baggett and Zack Henderson,

Great-great-grandchildren, K’Leigh Kitchen, Tarrin McCrone, Logan Kitchen and Raylee McCrone

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4, 2012 at 6:00 pm (CDT) at Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church in the Dellwood Community in Jackson County with Reverend Charlie Fowler and Reverend Wayne Fussell officiating. Interment will follow in the Cypress Grove Cemetery. The family will received friends Friday, May 4, 2012 at 5:00 pm (CDT) at Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church until service time at 6:00 pm (CDT). All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.
