Nathan Goodman has filed his letter of intent to seek the district 1 seat on the Calhoun County Board of Commissioners. He is running as a democrat. He will face Fred D. Blankenship in the democratic primary set for Aug. 14. The winner will meet James Grover (NPA) and Jerry Guilford (R) on the ballot in the general election Nov. 6. No word on whether incumbent Danny Ray Wise plans to seek re-election.
(Note: Goodman actually announced on Tuesday, but The County Record had already gone to press when he filed his intent.)
