Former C & L Bank President Jed Hiers was sentenced in federal court Thursday afternoon. Hiers, 50, of Bristol, received six months in federal prison, followed by three months of home confinement and three years of supervised release.
Hiers was convicted in November of conspiracy to commit bank fraud and nine counts of making false entries in bank records with the intent to deceive bank examiners.

I mean really six mos. I got more time for less money & for failing a drug test.. I guess money talks huh ?

Well, Megan, if you failed a drug test, then you were on probation for another crime, so I guess it wasn't just the drug test, now was it?
