The County Record and the Supervisor of Elections Office have learned there is some confusion about a political ad that was placed in this week's print edition.
The ad regarding the county judge's position made reference to contacting Supervisor of Elections Margie Laramore for information on applying for the job.
The County Record wishes to clarify this ad was NOT placed by Supervisor of Elections Margie Laramore. As stated in the legal disclaimer at the bottom of the ad, it was placed and paid for by Patti L. Wood of Clarksville.
