The U.S. Attorney's Office in Tallahassee has confirmed that former C & L Bank President Jed Hiers is scheduled to be sentenced today at 2 p.m. ET. Hiers, 50, of Bristol, was convicted in November of conspiracy to commit bank fraud and nine counts of making false entries in bank records with the intent to deceive bank examiners.
