OBITUARY - Thomas

Douglas K. Thomas, Sr. of Blountstown passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012, in Panama City, Florida at the age of 68.

Douglas was born in Marianna, Florida September 11, 1943, to the late Charlie and Dora Thomas. He worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator for many years and worked at the Texaco Station on Hwy. 69 for the past two years.

He is survived by his son, Douglas Thomas, Jr., of Spring Hill, Kansas; three grandchildren, Devane, Derek, and Taylor; a nephew, Bruce Hall, and his wife, Brice, of Blountstown.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. CT, Saturday, March 10 at Hosford Cemetery
in Hosford. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends an hour prior to service time (9:00-10:00 a.m. CT) at the cemetery.
