The Calhoun County School Board proposes amending policies for the Calhoun County Schools as follows:

ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES ACT
CALHOUN COUNTY SCHOOLS

CHAPTER 5 – STUDENTS

Amend Policies:

5.341 Manual Physical Restraint and Seclusion
5.80 Athletics

Entire proposals are available for viewing at the School Superintendent’s Office, Room G-20, Calhoun County Court House, Blountstown, Florida.
A hearing will be held on the above policies in the Cooperative Extension Building at 20816 Central Avenue East in Blountstown, Florida at the Regular School Board meeting beginning at 5:00 P.M., CDT, Thursday, April 12, 2012.

CONTRACTORS WANTED

The Calhoun County Board of County Commissioners is seeking contractors to perform minor building and insulation repairs on homes for the Calhoun County Weatherization assistance Program.
Requirements

Certified or Registered General, Builder or Residential License
Certified Firm and employ at least one Certified Lead Renovator.
General Liability Insurance with the limits no less than $300,000.00 per occurrence.
Worker Compensation Insurance or an exemption for all employees.
Pollution Occurrence Insurance.
Certificate of “Weatherization Contractor Training”
