Four people have been arrested after a search warrant was served on a Blountstown home Friday night.

Christopher Brian Butler, 27, and Christia Faith Kever Clinney, 20, have both been charged with manufacture of meth, possession of listed chemicals, and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana. Butler is also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Joseph William McDonald, 26, and Frederick Donovan McCormick, 26, are each charged with possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.

According to the Blountstown Police Department, members of the Calhoun County Drug Task Force served a narcotics search warrant on a home at 20557 NE Hentz Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Seized were reaction vessels used to manufacture meth, as well as pseudoephedrine, muriatic acid, ammonium nitrate, all chemicals used to produce the drug. Marijuana was also discovered. A stolen .45 caliber Colt pistol was found loaded with one round in the chamber.

Investigators learned Clinney bought cold and sinus medication from a Marianna store at 6:45 p.m. Friday. The same box of pills was located at the home of Shane Adam Coburn where a clandestine methamphetamine lab was found (see related story). Butler was allegedly the driver during the pill buy with knowledge that the pills were being provided to Coburn to produce meth.

Participating in the search were Lt. Timothy Partridge and Cpl. Patrick Crawford of the BPD, along with Lt. Mark Mallory, Sgt. Jared Nichols, Cpl. Eddie Dalton, Dep. Jody Hoagland, and Dep. John Scheetz, all of the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.
