A Bristol man was arrested on drug charges Thursday following a search of his Joe Chason Circle home.
Thomas Edward Galloway, 38, has been charged with cultivation of marijuana, possession of a schedule IV and possession of a prescription drug without a prescription.
According to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, the Calhoun-Liberty Drug Task Force members served a search warrant on Galloway’s home around 10:30 a.m. Recovered were 22 Xanex pills, 21 Valium pills, and some marijuana seeds in the house, along with four marijuana plants inside a shed.
Galloway told authorities the marijuana was for his personal use and not to sell.
He was booked into the Liberty County Jail and released the following day on bond.
