The Blountstown Lady Tigers claimed the district championship title Thursday night in a thrilling win over Liberty County. The first game of the match ended with a close 26-24 score. In the second game, BHS dominated, 25-7. Liberty County got back in it in the third, edging the Tigers, 27-25. BHS sealed the deal in the fourth, winning 25-19 for the title. Regionals begin Tuesday, Nov. 8, with the Lady Tigers hosting their county rival, the Altha Lady Wildcats. The Cats were named runners up in their district after a loss to Sneads last night.
