Mrs. Peggy Lynne Martin, age 60, of Blountstown, FL passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 in Dothan, AL. Peggy was born on September 26, 1956 in Broctkon, Massachusetts and had lived in Blountstown for the past 25 years. She had worked as a CNA for a number of years.

Survivors include,

2 daughters, Cheryl Story and husband, Jason of Dothan, AL
Corrie Allen of Blountstown, FL

1 brother, David Wheeler of Massachusetts

4 grandchildren

Former husband, Rex Martin of Blountstown, FL

No services are planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.

GREENSBORO- The old adage is that defense wins championships. The Blountstown Tiger defense showed that to be true last Friday night in Greensboro as the Tigers defeated the West Gadsden Panthers 43-7 to win the Class A Region 2 Championship. Only four teams remain in the Class A playoffs with the Tigers advancing to the State Semifinals. Blountstown will host the Baker Gators Friday, November 25th. [Full Story »]
